Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce Hong Kong – Introduction

The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce Hong Kong (BG Cham HK) (香港保加利亞商會) was established in 2022 in Hong Kong as a dynamic platform dedicated to strengthening bilateral economic ties, trade, and investment between Bulgaria and Hong Kong / Greater China.

The Chamber serves as:

- A strategic bridge for Bulgarian companies seeking to enter the Hong Kong and Mainland China markets.

- An EU gateway for Chinese enterprises looking to expand into Bulgaria and the European Union.

Since its establishment, the Chamber has actively organized high-profile events to promote economic and cultural exchanges.

November 4, 2025 — Hong Kong–Bulgaria Investment Opportunities & Business Cocktail Reception

Successfully hosted at the Hong Kong Club (Caernarvon & Edinburgh Rooms). The high-level event attracted senior executives, family offices, consular officials, and prominent Hong Kong investors. Chairman Ms. Eleanor Jane Mak delivered the opening speech, positioning Bulgaria as "Europe's last major undiscovered frontier market". Director & CEO Mr. Andrew Ronald Wells moderated a dynamic panel discussion. Key highlights included remarks by former Bulgarian Deputy Prime Minister Mr. Nikolai Vassilev and Minister of Tourism of Bulgaria Dr.Ilin Dimitrov（Honorary advisor of the Chamber）, as well as insights from Mr. Philipp J. Grenzebach (CEO of DENTAPRIME) and Mr. Chi Sum Li (KPMG Partner), who stated: "The trend is clear — it will only go up, and at a very fast pace."

May 22, 2025 — Bulgarian Education, Culture, and Slavic Script Day Celebration

Held a cocktail reception at the Hong Kong Club to celebrate Bulgarian Education, Culture, and Slavic Script Day. The event was graced by Hong Kong Legislative Council members Mr. Jeffrey Lam (林健鋒) and Mr. Long Hanbiao (龍漢標), among other distinguished guests.
